Refugee in the Sea is an emotional album that blends Arabic scales and lyrics with Spanish musical influences and lyrics.
The album has been nominated for the Canadian Folk Music Awards and the Ontario Folk Music Awards, and was also featured on the Transglobal World Music Chart.
The album has been performed live on stage in Toronto, Kitchener, Montreal, and Ottawa.
